Les Nuits du Jazz (The Nights of Jazz)-11th Anniversary

The festival will celebrate on the 5th and 6th of November 2010, it's eleventh birthday. The Le Côte Ouest Big Band (West Coast Big Band) will accompany, as it has each year the biggest international voices of jazz . For the second consecutive year, a closing concert will be given to the Area of Val Saint-Martin Pornic Sunday, November 7 in the afternoon.

The evening consists of a business into two parts together around a gala dinner in the great hall of International Convention Center of Nantes . The guests are placed at tables of 10 reserved in the name of the company inviting. The evening continues - for guests who want it - by Open Jazz Club in an adjoining room transformed for the occasion into a jazz club. This post-concert is particularly trade, aided by the friendly atmosphere of the Jam Session.
The evening for the general public is conducted in the same way, without the dinner tables and around 12 people. Viewers also have the option to extend the evening and meet the artists at the Open Jazz Club until 3am.


The festival focuses mainly on music directly accessible to all and incredible diversity. The guest soloists are accompanied by Le Côte Ouest Big Band and each year, the festival ensures the public fun and the discovery of jazz. Most international artists invited to Les Nuits du Jazz are in France for the first time. Their presence in Nantes is a great opportunity for the French public to discover these artists for themselves.
